About Me

I am a PhD candidate in the UNSW-NLP group at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, supervised by Dr. Aditya Joshi. I am also a 2026 DAAD AInet Fellow. My research develops resources and methods for Legal NLP, with a focus on models that are transparent, explainable and efficient. My goal is to empower communities and foster an informed society where legal understanding is no longer a barrier.

Previously, I was an NLP Researcher at the TCS Research Lab in Pune, India. I also hold a Master's in Electrical Engineering from IIT Gandhinagar, specializing in Image Processing and Computer Vision.
